Breaking News. . .

This just in...
Rachel just finished her FINAL Romans exam... and... maybe even did well.
YEAHHHHH BABY. One final down and five to go. And yet... I'm feelin perdy dern good. ; )
So.... here's the plan... escape from Crown in a few minutes to a nearby coffee shop with Lisa to study for my PBI final tonight.

Recent challenge for me: I want to love regardless of the risks... regardless of how much it might hurt me in the long run. I want my love to be so selfless that it doesn't stop to think twice about how I might benefit or lose from the situation. I want to value what I've been
given here and now. Afterall, isn't that what love really is? Isn't that what Jesus did? So... cheers to long nights awake wondering why things have to hurt... and to sucking it up and loving on anyways.
Grant, if you read this, I know you know what I'm talking about. : )

How is your week going? What is going better than expected? What could be better? Let me know... I will pray for you.

Before Bed

I thought I would throw out a few updates before bed.

Last week before finals.

I loved baby-sitting on Friday night... spending some time wrestling around with the kids!

I enjoyed great conversation with Anna on Saturday evening. It always helps so much to be in a place where I can express myself and know that I will be understood more there than I could in any other place.

My friend Jake has really been inspiring me lately to let go of things I am clinging to and to dream in the ways God desires me to.

Finished writing and enveloping all of my mission trip letters today, with my mom's help.

I am looking forward to the blessing of Christmas break... some slow-down time where I can relax and connect with the Lord. And READ!

Cheers to the upcoming week. My goal is to wrap up this semester in a stress-free manner. What do you hope to accomplish this week?
