Over time we have surfaced in unsettling ways
What pushes me out is pulling you down and you’re sinking your feet
Our passions, drawing victims to parted shores,
Place my heart on the horizon, where colors dance
The currents are natural, the tide is at work
Hold on now dear, as I let myself go
Let’s drift apart, even while souls sink
Knowing someday we’ll occupy more
I’ll write you my discoveries; you’ll send me your creations
We’ll marvel our incongruities into less of regrets
Holding one another in suspended air and weathered photograph
Call me now, what you always have
Call me familiar, as I take our last breath...
Look who else has a blog!
ReplyDeleteFYI, This is Rob from the aforementioned shindig of CCTECC-ers.
I'm bummed that I won't have internet access this summer, so I have to make sure I get plenty of blogging in before this semester ends.
Grace and peace!
